LimonOS is a unique, custom-built 64-bit monolithic kernel written from scratch in C and Assembly for x86_64. It is not a Linux or Unix kernel.

This wiki serves as the main documentation hub for the project.

🚀 Current Status

LimonOS is in very early, active development (started just a few days ago). It currently features:

• True 64-bit Long Mode.
• Custom physical page manager and heap (kmalloc/kfree).
• Custom network stack (Ethernet -> ARP -> IP -> TCP -> DNS).
• Hand-written TLS 1.3 (SHA-256, AES-GCM, X25519) capable of HTTPS requests.
• A graphical framebuffer interface with windowing.
