CoolDock 2.2.2 - Profiles On The Move And A Dock That Keeps Up! 🚀🔗

🆕 What's New

• Move Profiles To Another Mac: Settings > Profiles > Export Profiles… saves the profiles you pick to a file - on your other Mac, choose Import Profiles… or just double-click it. You see a preview first, and your own profiles are never replaced!
• Restore A Backup: Settings > Profiles > Restore from Backup… shows what a backup would change before you restore it!
• Switch Profiles From Anywhere: Use cooldock:// links, the new "Switch CoolDock Profile" Shortcuts action, or a CoolDock Focus filter that switches profiles when a Focus turns on!
• Folders In Two Clicks: Right-click an app in the dock and choose Add to Folder or New Folder with - no dragging needed!
• Two Versions Of One App: Keep two versions of the same app on the dock, like Photoshop 2025 and 2026, and each one gets its own running dot, click, Quit, previews and window list!
• Todoist Widgets: See your next task or your task list, tick tasks off, and Quick Add new ones right from the dock!
• Fantastical: With Fantastical as the Calendar widget's app, events open on their day and you can make a New Event in Fantastical!
• AI Usage Your Way: Codex and Claude usage widgets can show the percent left and open their app when you click them!
• Temperature When It Matters: Pick "Show When Above" on a Temperature widget and it only appears when your Mac runs hot!
• Peek From The Edge: New "Show at Screen Edge While Hidden" brings the dock back over a fullscreen app when you rest the pointer on the screen edge!
• ChatGPT (Codex): Settings > AI Assistant now lists ChatGPT (Codex) too!

• Windows Stay Above The Dock: Replace the macOS Dock now keeps zoomed and new windows above CoolDock, just like the macOS Dock!
• Menus Beside The Icon: Right-click menus open next to the item you clicked, like the macOS Dock!
• Even Smoother Window Previews: Previews switch between apps without a jump and use much less CPU!
• Snappier Widget Pop-ups: Focus, media and Dock Structure pop-ups open without a stutter!
• File Shelf Looks Like A Shelf: The File Shelf keeps its tray icon with a file count!
• Room Between Folders: Folders side by side keep a clear gap!
• Full Month Names: The Date widget shows long months like October in full!
• AI Assistant Changes Stay: Setup panels no longer undo a change your AI assistant made while the panel was open!

🐞 Bug Fixes

• The Dock Comes Back After Fullscreen: With Hide During Fullscreen on, leaving a fullscreen app no longer leaves the dock invisible on the glass styles - it slides back with all its icons, every time!
• Stays On Every Desktop: The dock now stays on all your desktops after you use a fullscreen app, instead of only the one you were on!
• Links, Shortcuts And Focus Never Hang: If macOS stops answering a permission check, cooldock:// links, the "Switch CoolDock Profile" Shortcuts action and Focus filters keep working instead of freezing!
• Your Music Comes Back: Pause a video that took over the Now Playing widget and it goes right back to Spotify or Music if they are still playing!
• Now Playing Keeps The Song: The song and cover stay when you switch profiles, and Spotify album covers show up!
• Your macOS Dock Comes Back: Quitting CoolDock puts back the macOS Dock settings you had before - every time!
• Minimized Apps Restore: Clicking an app whose windows are all minimized brings them back, even for apps like LINE!
• Reserve Dock Space Keeps Working: If macOS gets stuck on a window, CoolDock recovers by itself - no relaunch needed!
• No More Frozen Choosers: More Folders, Choose App, Change Icon and other file choosers open on top and never freeze the dock!
• One Panel At A Time: Opening Widgets closes an open folder gallery instead of drawing both together!
• A Quit CoolDock Stays Quit: Starting a new AI assistant session no longer reopens CoolDock!
• Right Preview In Settings: The Fixed bottom layout card shows CoolDock above the macOS Dock, where it really goes!
• No Focus Ring: Dock widgets no longer show a blue keyboard focus box!
• Steadier: Fixed a rare crash when CoolDock checks its own windows or fullscreen apps, and Export Diagnostics keeps more helpful details!
