Pedigree morph view allows the user to create a "family tree" of biomorphs. When the user enters Pedigree, the current biomorph appears in the center. The user can click on the biomorph and drag to "draw out" an offspring, which is drawn at the point where the user releases the drag. Any biomorph so drawn out can be bred from, creating a family tree of biomorphs, with line segments indicating the relationship of parent to offspring.
Biomorphs in the pedigree view can be moved, detached (from the parent), and killed. When a biomorph is killed, all of its attached descendants are killed too. If you want to kill a parent biomorph, but preserve a line of its descendants, use the detach tool first to disconnect the eldest offspring you want to preserve from its parent first.
