This release fixes Battle.net game updates on Soju: Diablo II: Resurrected can update again.

Battle.net updates

  • Pressing Update for D2R stopped with "We tried to make a file writable but failed. Please log in as an administrator" (BLZBNTAGT00000846). The Battle.net Agent writes access lists on the game folder before patching and reads them back; Wine rebuilt them from Unix permission bits, so the read-back never matched and the Agent gave up. Soju's engine now keeps the access lists programs write (engine-v1.6, patches/wineserver-stored-acls.patch).
  • Existing installs: soju update downloads engine-v1.6 (384 MB, checked against its pinned SHA-256). Then press Update in Battle.net again.

Validation on M4 Pro / macOS 26.5 with copies of a real Battle.net bottle: with engine-v1.5 the D2R update stopped with error 2118; with the v1.6 wineserver it finished, Battle.net stayed signed in and D2R reached online character select. 198 Python tests pass. Details in docs/DIAGNOSIS.md.
