Coding Ledger 1.0.1 — offline dashboard packages
Coding Ledger 1.0.1 packages the current scanner and reporting improvements into an installable release with fully offline dashboard charts.
- Bundle Chart.js in the Python wheel and source package so charts work without a CDN.
- Clarify supported evidence, privacy boundaries, cost/time estimates, and source-available licensing.
- Add release checks that install the package outside the source checkout, scan synthetic Git history twice, verify deduplication, and generate reports and an offline dashboard.
All 52 unit tests and Python 3.10/3.14 CI checks pass. The published wheel and source distribution include SHA-256 checksums; the downloaded wheel was independently installed and exercised after publication.
Install the attached wheel, or use the updated Homebrew tap. Version 1.0.1 is also available from PyPI: pipx install coding-ledger==1.0.1. The PyPI wheel and source hashes match these release files, and a clean PyPI installation passed the same end-to-end smoke test.
v1.0.0 — AI ROI release
Know what your AI actually returns
- Token spend ingestion: Claude Code and Codex usage from local logs, priced at API list rates (API-equivalent value);
~/.coding-ledger/pricing.jsonoverride; unknown models labeled, never inferred. - Outcome linking: cost per shipped commit, per-tool conversion, unconverted spend, monthly trends;
scan --gh-prsrecords merged authored PRs. - Screen time: macOS Screen Time coding-app intervals persisted before Apple prunes them; explicit envelope formula
total_involved(day) = max(human_evidence, shared_ai, screen) + independent_ai. - New commands:
roi(with--set-subscription),today,license install/status. - Pro license: offline Ed25519-verified, honor-based, rendering-only; unlocks the dashboard ROI deep-dive and the 1200x1350 ROI share card.
- Packaging:
pipx install coding-ledgerconsole script;python3 coding_ledger.pyunchanged.
51 tests green. Privacy boundary unchanged: no prompts, responses, source code, or tool output stored.
