Feature parity between Niri vs Dwindle layouts?

In my first attempt to use OnmiWM, I tried Dwindle. It felt weird (with Niri) to me to use only 2 thirds (or part of the screen only) of the available screen space when I don't have huge monitors... In general, I use this "setup": have each App window use all screen space by default, move different Windows to assigned Workspaces, and switch to a different workspace when needed.

So, I noticed Dwindle isn't as full featured as Niri. Then uninstalled and went back to Aerospace.

I just tried again, but this time chose Niri. I'm still getting used to it, but so far so good.

Yeah, Dwindle is not fully finished, it's on backlog after Niri polish and some other stuff.

If you want to have what you are asking just set to fill screen in both Niri and Dwindle:

Also for Niri if you set to 1 visible column you will get monocle layout basically what you are asking for. Unless I'm missunderstanding.

Yes, I ended up using "Fill Screen", and then I decided it worked for my small screens (laptop, and 1 external, sometimes).
