## BLXCode 0.3.0 is in progress 🚧

We are currently working on the next BLXCode release: 0.3.0.

This update focuses on making BLXCode feel more like a complete workspace-native coding environment, with stronger project-file handling, better Git workflows, release visibility, and several terminal / agent polish improvements.

Highlights

• Project Files CRUD

  • Create files and folders directly from the Project Files sidebar.
  • Inline VS Code-style creation flow.
  • Folder-level quick actions.
  • Sandboxed backend commands for safe file and folder creation.

• Sidebar Git Sync

  • Fetch / Pull / Push directly from the sidebar.
  • Live branch status with ahead / behind information.
  • Push only enabled when changes are staged and a remote is reachable.
  • Toast feedback for common Git outcomes like conflicts, dirty trees, missing upstreams, auth issues, and network errors.

• Post-update release notes

  • BLXCode can now show a one-time “What’s new” dialog after an installed update.
  • Release notes are loaded from versioned docs or GitHub release content.

• Workspace UX improvements

  • Recent working directories in the create-workspace wizard.
  • Close-workspace confirmation across all close paths.
  • Optional setting to disable close confirmations.

• Memory improvements

  • Root-level note creation for Project and Global memory.

• Terminal & Agent polish

  • Better terminal titlebar drag affordance.
  • Slot markers for reordered terminals.
  • Cleaner agent tool activity styling and spacing.
  • One-shot context cleanup after successful agent turns.
  • Handoff dropdown fixes and terminal resize prompt cleanup.

Status

This is still work in progress.
More commits are expected before the rel/0.3.0 branch is ready to merge into main.
