please prioritize command line profile switching

i really hate to be that guy but please add command line profile switching. i keep needing to switch between profiles and i need to be able to so quickly.

and i generally think it would be one of the most useful parts of the program right now.

i love hyprmod and i use it every single day with no issues, so i just wanna thank you for it and sorry for this discussion haha

Good news, this is done and it's already on main. Honestly it wasn't a big lift, all the profile machinery was already there for the GUI, I just wired it up to the command line. I hadn't done it earlier mostly because nobody had asked and I didn't personally need it, so this was the nudge.

hyprmod profile list            # your profiles (active marked with *)
hyprmod profile apply Gaming    # switch by name (case-insensitive)
hyprmod profile next            # cycle to the next one (wraps around)
hyprmod profile previous        # or "prev" for short

And since you're after fast switching, the cycle commands are basically made for a keybind:

bind = SUPER, P, exec, hyprmod profile next

You can pull main and use it right now, and it'll be in the next release too. Give it a try and let me know if it works the way you'd expect. Feedback very welcome, especially on the naming and the cycle order. Thanks again!
