Release list
v1.0.4
Minor bug fixes and
- Fixed handling of non-case-sensitive matching of categorical variable levels in observation data. If a user has defined the accepted levels of the
fruitColortrait asRedandBluebut uploaded observation data withredandblue, these will be automatically case-corrected to the defined values by default. This behavior can be disabled. - Added handling of string NA values (
NA,na,Na,N/A, andn/a) in numerical columns of retrieved observation datasets. - Added
message()to note how many observation variables were present in a retrieved observations dataset. - Standardized how arguments are described in function docstrings.
- Added a logo.
v1.0.3
First official public release of deltabreedquery. This matches the package as it was accepted to CRAN.
All core functions now have runnable examples using prepackaged sample data.
Tested and working with both production-level DeltaBreed instances (anything at app.breedinginsight.net), as well as pre-release instances used internally by Breeding Insight.
v0.1.1-alpha
This patch fixes several critical bugs in get_observations() that were causing data frames to be retrieved incorrectly
The README has also been updated with clearer installation instructions
v0.1.0-alpha
This initial alpha version should be functional when installed from Github via devtools::install_github("tyrwh/deltabreedquery")
The initial login is handled via login_deltabreed(). Once the user is authenticated, three main functions are implemented to request data:
get_experiments()
get_observations()
get_germplasm()
Each of these simply pulls the relevant data type and returns a data frame with roughly the same formatting as how the data appears on DeltaBreed
