Universal Multi-Gen GPU Unlock v1.6.1 (Factory Selector Tolerance & PowerShell Fix)
Universal Multi-Gen GPU Unlock v1.6.1 (Hotfix: Factory Selector Tolerance & PowerShell Fix)
Universal 1-Click UEFI Pre-Boot Unlocker for NVIDIA RTX 40 Series (Ada Lovelace) and RTX 30 Series (Ampere) graphics cards under Windows 10/11 and WSL2.
🚀 What's New in v1.6.1
-
VBIOS Factory Selector Tolerance (Resolves #4):
- Expanded cold-boot SS1 selector verification (profile.c and unlock_610.c) to accept all un-unlocked states (SS1 <= 7, including SS1 = 0x0).
- Resolves pre-flight refusal (Selectors invalid: SS0=0x25527121, SS1=0x0 (expected SS1==1, 3 or 7)) on RTX 4090 models with factory VBIOS revisions that initialize the secondary selector index to zero.

-
PowerShell Variable Scope Fix (Resolves #3):
- Corrected variable interpolation in Setup-AdaUnlock.ps1 during manual USB drive selection (":"), preventing an InvalidVariableReferenceWithDrive syntax error on Windows 11 PowerShell.
- Special thanks to @gabrielfougeron for identifying the issue!

- UEFI Secure Boot Compatible: Authenticode-signed with custom certificate (AdaUnlock_SecureBoot.cer).
- Official NVIDIA Driver: Works seamlessly with standard, unmodified Windows Game Ready & Studio drivers (
vlddmkm.sys).
