First published release of encryptEd — an encrypted text editor with a FLTK GUI, a terminal UI (etui), and a CLI, built on a C17 core for the .txx encrypted text format (XChaCha20-Poly1305 + Argon2id).

Downloads

  • Windows: encryptEd-1.0-windows-setup.exe (installer, includes GUI + terminal UI) or the portable encryptEd-1.0-windows-x86_64.zip
  • Linux (x86_64): encryptEd-1.0-linux-x86_64.tar.gz — GUI, CLI, and terminal UI binaries

No macOS build is available yet (no macOS build environment was available for this release).
