Users are anyone that registers to use the Cadasta platform. Users that do not register are considered "public" users. Roles and permissions are currently assigned to users by organizational administrators.

Navigation

The user management section will only be available to System Administrators through a direct link in a sys admin menu. It will not be part of the site navigation.

4.0 User Index

The user index will include user avatar, full name, username, email, organization(s), date of last login, and status toggle button to deactivate/activate user. Keyword search, sorting and filtering will be available to locate records in table. No bulk actions will be available.

Active/Inactive Users

The status dropdown options include:

  • All active (default)
  • All inactive
  • All users

Inactive users will be grayed out when displayed in the table.

Changing user status

System admins can deactivate/activate users by using the status change button in the index. A secondary confirmation modal will confirm the action and close the modal, returning the user to the index page.

Adding users to platform

Platform users are responsible for registering and maintaining their own account information and passwords.

Adding users to organizations

Organization administrators are responsible for adding users (members) to their organizations. See 3.3 Organization Members for more information.

Assigning user permissions

Organization administrators are responsible for assigning administrative permissions to org admins or project-level permissions to members of their organization.
