Server won't recognize user

I did a little testing with connecting to dwarftowers.com using the HTML client currently in the lobby branch.

First, I opened up the Java client, and logged in. Success.

Then, I opened up the HTML client, and logged in. Nothing.

The server chat did not log a message when I logged in via the HTML client. However, when I logged off, it said something along the lines of:

has logged off

Without the username. Perhaps this has something to do with the current issue in the client where you have to rapidly double click the login button in order for the the page to successfully change, which in the end sends at least two login messages.
