Pre-release
Pre-release
Overview
OneFamily v1.2.2-beta3 brings critical stability fixes across multiple controller families, adds a dedicated DualSense hardware configuration tab in the Companion App, and eliminates input anomalies on Xbox 360 wireless adapters and Nintendo Switch gamepads.
Key Changes and Improvements
Daemon & Input Drivers
- Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver (Issue #32): Fixed an issue where non-input RF announcements and status packets from wireless dongles fell through to the wired input parser, causing phantom button presses and stick drift.
- Switch & Switch Pro Analog Sticks: Corrected analog stick Y-axis inversion across all Nintendo Switch USB controllers, aligning vertical movement with native DualShock 4 controls.
- DualSense Bluetooth Protocol Realignment: Realigned byte offsets in the 0x31 Bluetooth output report to match Sony specifications. Adaptive Triggers, hardware LED Brightness levels, and Player Indicator LEDs now function correctly.
- USB Polling Pacing: Reduced USB interrupt transfer timeout from 4ms to 2ms, preventing loop delays and maintaining steady 250 Hz input responsiveness.
- Bus Topology Change Detection: Replaced repetitive bus scan logging with snapshot-based diff detection, eliminating log storms when no devices are plugged in.
- Rumble Safety: Blocked outbound rumble transfers to Switch input-only gamepads lacking vibration actuators or OUT endpoints.
- Xbox 360 Pipe Stall Recovery: Prevented transient transfer timeouts from prematurely disabling force feedback on wired gamepads.
Companion App
- DualSense Settings Tab: Added a dedicated configuration page to customize Adaptive Trigger profiles (Off, Hair Trigger, Continuous Resistance, Vibration), RGB Lightbar modes (Game Sync, Static Colors, Battery Level, Off), hardware LED Brightness dimmer, and Mute button remapping (Touchpad click toggle).
- Instant Configuration Sync: Settings changed in the Companion App are immediately written to the configuration file and applied by the daemon without requiring a reboot.
