@ChiricoG ChiricoG released this 27 Oct 19:32

Changes in v1.1.4

DualSense & DualSense Edge Communication Fixes

  • Implemented full standard 64-byte USB Output Report (Report ID 0x02) complying with official Sony/Linux specifications, replacing previously truncated 48-byte packets that caused endpoint stalls.
  • Configured mandatory hardware valid flag masks (valid_flag0: compatible vibration and haptics select; valid_flag1: lightbar and player indicator control).
  • Added visual connection confirmation: DualSense now illuminates solid PlayStation Blue on the lightbar and activates the Player 1 center dot LED upon connection, taking the controller out of passive charging mode.
  • Implemented dual-channel wake-up handshake: output reports are sent via Interrupt OUT, with automatic fallback to USB Control Transfer (SET_REPORT) if interrupt pipe communication fails.
  • Implemented automatic input endpoint fallback: polls primary endpoint 0x84, and gracefully falls back to endpoint 0x81 if no reports are received, ensuring compatibility across all firmware revisions and USB hub topologies.
  • Updated rumble packet generation to full 64-byte structures to ensure uninterrupted in-game vibration feedback.
