Installation: Linux
Warning
All public builds will only be downloadable from GitHub or ClarionCorp.net. Downloading from any other source cannot be trusted without checking its hash. If you don't know what that means, trash it and download it from one of those two sources instead.

Before starting, please make sure Omega Strikers is installed to the default location. (~/.steam/steamapps/). The app doesn't work on Linux on separate drives or locations yet. If you haven't changed your install directory, don't worry about this.
First, we'll want to prime our game to work with the UE4SS modloader. Open Steam, right click on Omega Strikers in the sidebar, then click Properties. In the launch options, paste or add these launch arguments:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dwmapi=n,b" %command%Then close that popup and continue below.
Next, visit the Releases page, then scroll down and expand Assets if it isn't already. Depending on what Distro you are on depends what version to use. If you want the portable version, use .AppImage. If you want to install, use .deb or .rpm based on your distro below.

Note
Currently, Flatpak, AUR, APT, PM, etc. are all unsupported. IDK if I will ever set those up, but if anyone wants to, lmk on discord please.
Once you decided, click on its name to download it. If you downloaded the .AppImage, place it somewhere like your Desktop or Documents folder to keep track if it. Then, just run it and it'll open and start setup. During setup, if your game is running, it will ask you to restart so UE4SS can load with the game. The app won't work until you do.
Whenever an update is available, the app will let you know and redirect you to GitHub for it. Just run through those install steps above again. Your database file will be automatically migrated to the new version when launched.
