There are some misleading statements regarding the compatibility setting:
On https://clickhouse.com/docs/manage/updates#version-compatibility:
You cannot manage the compatibility setting for your service. You must contact support if you would like to change the version set for your compatibility setting.
On https://clickhouse.com/docs/operations/settings/settings#compatibility:
In ClickHouse Cloud the compatibility setting must be set by ClickHouse Cloud support. Please open a case to have it set.
However, the compatibility setting can be changed on a user / role / profile / query / session level. This should be mentioned.
