MCP client for `unityMCP` failed to start: request timed out

I am trying to use Codex on Windows, and my config.toml looks like this:

[mcp_servers.unityMCP]
command = "C:\Users\[REDACTED]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WinGet\Packages\astral-sh.uv_Microsoft.Winget.Source_8wekyb3d8bbwe\uv.exe"

Yes, pretty much the same. But I am in the terminal, not extension.

I haven't gotten that error myself, the other ticket is still open. There are people looking at it, if you can use your debugger and help that'll be great

@A-l-an The temporary solution is posted on this issue: #315. What we found working is having the uv command running the server in one shell while starting codex, this way codex can run unity_mcp fine. We will see if we can put up a PR to fix this.
