Is Criptext really opensource?

I was trying to review the self-hosted version and only can find the mobile clients, not the backend.

on your website, https://criptext.com/en/about, (throughout many pages on the site) it states

_With Criptext we’re giving control back to the user. We don’t ask for trust, but rather promote people to verify, which is why we’ve made Criptext entirely open source.

Is this another Protonmail/mailspring, where the front-end is opensource but not the backend? If so, that is a shame

Not only that, these project smells quite fishy for me — developers don't answer a single issue/question and nothing is taken into consideration, although it probably could be management direction. In any case, I'm out 🥳 🎈

@cheerios911 I had the same question in my mind. But, later I wanted to test their “free” custom domain integration with 5 aliases. It didn't go well as I quite expected. Because, what if I found a severe vulnerability and reported them, guess what? I will be getting no response from them as a proof you can see their official GitHub repository with no replies at all from their so-called open-source developers. At this point I assume it became an “Abandonware”. But, surprisingly they are actively tweeting @CripText

Here is the reason I found out why CripText back-end is not open-source in their FAQ Page
