Cuelith 0.2.5

Cuelith ha una nuova licenza: da questa versione il programma è software libero con licenza GPL 3.0.

Novità

• Licenza GPL 3.0 o successiva: il programma resta libero per sempre. Chi lo distribuisce, anche modificato, deve dare il codice sorgente con la stessa licenza.
• I plugin restano liberi di scegliere la propria licenza, anche a pagamento e a sorgente chiuso, grazie a un'eccezione scritta (PLUGIN-EXCEPTION.md).
• Il testo della licenza e l'eccezione sono inclusi nell'installatore, in Impostazioni → Informazioni compare «GPL 3.0».
• Plugin Canti 0.5.1 e lingue italiano 0.2.1 e inglese 0.1.1: stessa funzione di prima, con la nuova licenza.

Da sapere

• Il programma funziona come la 0.2.0: nessun cambiamento nell'uso, nei file e nei plugin già installati.
• Le versioni precedenti, fino alla 0.2.0, erano pubblicate con licenza Apache 2.0.

Cuelith has a new licence: from this version the program is free software under the GPL 3.0.

What is new

• GPL 3.0 or later licence: the program stays free forever. Anyone who distributes it, modified or not, must provide the source code under the same licence.
• Plugins stay free to choose their own licence, including paid and closed-source ones, thanks to a written exception (PLUGIN-EXCEPTION.md).
• The licence text and the exception are included in the installer, and Settings → About shows "GPL 3.0".
• Songs 0.5.1 plugin and Italian 0.2.1 and English 0.1.1 languages: the same features as before, under the new licence.

Good to know

• The program works like 0.2.0: nothing changes in how you use it, in your files or in the plugins you have installed.
• Earlier versions, up to 0.2.0, were published under the Apache 2.0 licence.
