  • Finestra Plugin in tre schede: Marketplace, Installati e Lingue.

  • Lingue italiano 0.2.6 e inglese 0.1.6 incluse nell'installatore.

Licenza GPL 3.0 o successiva.

Text styles: choose in one click how projected text looks, and customise a single text from the editor.

What is new

  • Text styles, under the backgrounds: you create them (typeface, size, line height, bold, uppercase, colour, alignment, margin) and pick them at any time, in preview and live. None are built in: use + to make one from the one in use.
  • Style of a single text: in the editor of a text or song, the Style tab lets you change only what you need (size as a scale, typeface, colour, alignment, line height, bold, uppercase) with an instant preview.
  • The chosen style wins: while a style from the row is on, it replaces the editor's changes; with None they come back as they were (they stay saved).
  • Projected text stays readable: a style in which the text would not fit the outputs cannot be chosen (for what is on air, in preview or selected; for the rest of the playlist a ⚠ warning appears). With "Shrink to fit" the text gets smaller down to a minimum, the same for all slides of an item.
  • While writing with a style on, the editor warns you if a slide would not fit.
  • Outline and shadow in text styles: width, colour, distance and blur.
  • Lines are never broken: with "Shrink to fit" every line of the text stays whole; if needed the text gets smaller (even below the minimum: live, small beats broken).
  • Animated GIFs move on the outputs too, not only in the station.
  • "Background only": a button next to Clear hides the text on all room outputs and keeps the background; it stays on while you change slides and a second click turns it off. The stage monitor keeps its text.
  • Right column redesigned in Present: no vertical scrolling, a bigger preview, labels outside the text; backgrounds and styles are rows that scroll sideways.
  • Faithful preview: in the small frame the text no longer spills over the edge.
  • Search and go (Ctrl+K): type the name of a plugin, a command (Next, Background only…), a layout, a setting or a playlist item and press Enter. It works with the keyboard alone; the magnifier in the icon column opens it with the mouse.
  • Favourites in the icon column: with many plugins, the column keeps the ones you use most (star in "All plugins"); the others are found by searching and open in a tab. Until you choose, you see all of them as before; a newly installed plugin pins itself.
  • Plugin settings, the same for all: gear on the plugin's tab, Settings button in the Plugins window, and search. Every change saves itself, Reset goes back to the default. For developers: protocol 1.18 (contributes.settings with description, limits and choices, pluginsettings.get/set commands and the core.plugin.settingsChanged event).
  • Plugin window in three tabs: Marketplace, Installed and Languages. Languages no longer sit among the plugins: in the Languages tab choose Use this language and see the other ones available. The marketplace has a Free / Paid filter, puts what you already installed last, and shows the plugin's picture and How to use it before you install it.
  • Welcome to Cuelith: the first time, with no tools yet, it suggests the most useful plugins (Songs first), installs them in one click and opens the tool. You can always find it again with Ctrl+K and "welcome".
  • Installer: choose the language (Italian or English) at the start and Cuelith starts in the same one; if Cuelith is already installed, the setup says it is an update and leaves your shows, settings and plugins alone.
  • For developers: the cover image (image in the manifest) and the how-to guide (onboarding) come from the package and show in the marketplace and on the website (protocol 1.19).
  • Songs 0.6.0 (from the marketplace): a more compact panel with the actions always at the bottom, an editor with a big title, sections colour-coded by type, quick jump and a preview of what the audience sees, slide by slide and in projection order.
  • Slide column: S / M / L thumbnails, the state written in words ("on air", "next"), the slide count and the on-air slide always kept in view in long songs.
  • Swap program and preview: a button with two circular arrows next to the program controls swaps their sizes (big program live, big preview while preparing); your choice is remembered.
  • Tabs: Ctrl+Tab goes back to the tab you used before; tabs opened from search close with the ×.
  • Sturdier with many plugins: plugins run at a lower priority than the control view and the outputs, if the computer is about to run out of memory the heaviest plugin is stopped (with a notice) instead of letting everything fall over, and you are warned when the computer is close to its limit. Reinstalling a running plugin (same version, from a file or folder) no longer gives an error.

Good to know

  • A show saved with this version and opened in an earlier one (0.3.x) may give an error, because items can now carry a text style.
  • Texts stay as before until you choose or create a style.
  • Italian 0.2.6 and English 0.1.6 languages are included in the installer.
