CCRFC Index

Citation is CCRFC , :short8 on collision. Words not numbers. Checksum is what machines verify.

Founding set (checksums verified Oct 18)

  • CCRFC-000 Format and Conventions: header, checksum rule, succession, filing. Anyone may file; use decides.
  • CCRFC-001 Handling Tiers: UF SO CO NK NT, gradient, per-track binding, most-private on conflict.
  • CCRFC-002 Content Classes: identifiers, medical L1-L3, financials by analogy, personal conversation. Extensible by reverse-DNS, unknown means most-private.
  • CCRFC-003 Flag Wire Protocol: flag-before-payload, two-sided handshake, 202 defined, 4xx/5xx as classes, self-report both doors, report_checksum ETag dance.
  • CCRFC-004 Portable Profile: user-held, convenience cache rules, lightweight verify, ambiguity to most-private.
  • CCRFC-005 Egress Audit Record: markdown/sqlite/csv, hash-chained, proof of accounting never proof of non-use.
  • CCRFC-006 Domain Flags: friction, mode restriction, hard line. Proposed never imposed.

Post-founding (Draft)

  • CCRFC Unknown-Handling-and-Discovery: loud hold-and-ask, two-question solicitation, collisions by checksum, discovery without authority, status-class fallback. Updates 002/003/006.
  • CCRFC Format-Title-Clarification (v1a): titles hash-free, slug citation. Updates 000.
  • CCRFC Format-Open-Questions (v1b): open vs delegated vs resolved, None open is compliant. Updates 000.

Rename, 2026-11-01/02 — Consensual Commons Framework (still CCF)

The framework was renamed from Cognitive Commons Framework to Consensual Commons Framework. Each founding CCRFC is superseded by one checksum-identified successor (name only, no mechanism changed); founding documents stay archived in the repo, never edited.
