Description

Following the team’s discussion, we need to update the event page entries once events are completed and their recordings are published on YouTube. This process ensures our event archive remains accurate, accessible, and properly labeled for viewers.

This involves replacing the placeholder link with the actual YouTube video link.

Objectives

• Ensure all past events have correct YouTube links added
• Reflect accurate event status on the event page after video upload
• Maintain consistency across all listed events for a professional archive

• Identify completed events that still use placeholder links

I would like to show my interest in working on adding the youtube session link of Karim in the community blog.

While getting to know more about the issue, I got some inquiries:

• Does the scope only include adding the YouTube session link? I noticed some other things that might need to be modified as well such as views and Facebook event.
  Regarding Facebook event, noticed that it's written for the upcoming events, but for the already held events it's written differently as Live Recording.

What do you think Eng. @aymanaboghonim?

Based on our discussion yesterday, I got that the PR will need to include the update of the Facebook Event to be Live Recording as well. I have a concern regarding this point that the Live Recording on Facebook of this event is nearly 21 minutes so it might be misleading, what do you think 🤔 ?

What about replacing the Live Recording with any of the following?

• Live Recording (Partial)
• Event Highlights

What about replacing the following?

• Live Recording -> Live Recording (Facebook – 21 mins)
• YouTube Video -> Full Live Recording (YouTube) or Live Recording (YouTube – Full Session)

FYI, Even if the video is completed, Facebook deletes videos after some time, so it may not always be available. The best option is to share the event URL to track and audit the event, including the number of participants. For example, this is the link for the GitHub session; the video has already been deleted, but all tracking information can still be found in the event URL:
