Download for Mac (Tablet-App-for-Mac.dmg) — Apple silicon (tested)

  1. Open the downloaded file.
  2. Drag Tablet App for Mac onto the Applications folder.
  3. Open the app from Applications. If your Mac warns you, right-click the app and choose Open. If there is no Open button, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.

If you already have Version 7 or later, you can use Check for updates now in the app instead of downloading by hand.

Permissions after an update

Each new build can look like a new app to macOS. Turning a permission off and on again is often not enough. Remove Tablet App for Mac from Input Monitoring and from Accessibility (or Device Control and Data Access), then add it again — once in each list — so macOS recognises it.

What is new

  • Earlier versions… on Home: any version, stable or BETA, can go back to one of the two stable versions before it.
  • After an update, the old driver no longer keeps running, so Home no longer shows a "user-supplied" driver.
  • Setup no longer shows macOS's own permission box on top of System Settings (the permission was asked twice).
  • The app and its help now say "driver" everywhere.
  • New wording in this version is in English in every language for now; translations follow.

Tested as Version 15 BETA 1 before release. Source: tag v15 (branch v15-source).
