OpenPBR provides a specification and reference implementation for the OpenPBR surface shading model.

It is able to be used through MaterialX which is now part of the vanilla USD build.

Currently, the ALab ships with UsdPreviewSurface materials and textures for Ambient Occlusion, Metalness, Normals, Roughness, IOR and Base Color.

It would be great to have a version of the ALab that uses OpenPBR with a comparison table, and telling what, if anything, is missing from existing textures to achieve a successful or better OpenPBR representation.
