Hello there, I'm Dom 👋

GitHub followers CV Twitter Follow Research gate

I'm mostly involved in projects related to statistics (through the easystats project for R) and neuroscience (see the neuropsychology open org). Python and R are my go-to languages, but I'm keeping an eye on what could be the languages of tomorrow (e.g., Julia).

My CV, publications and all are available on my website:

Here are some open-source projects I'm working on:

Statistics

  • report: 📜 🎉 Automated reporting of objects in R
  • bayestestR: 👻 Utilities for analyzing Bayesian models and posterior distributions
  • correlation: 🔗 Methods for Correlation Analysis
  • modelbased: 📈 Estimate effects, contrasts and means based on statistical models
  • effectsize: 🐉 Compute and work with indices of effect size and standardized parameters
  • parameters: 📊 Computation and processing of models' parameters
  • performance: 💪 Models' quality and performance metrics (R2, ICC, LOO, AIC, BF, ...)
  • insight: 🔮 Easy access to model information for various model objects
  • see: 🎨 Visualisation toolbox for beautiful and publication-ready figures
  • psycho: An R package for experimental psychologists
  • Psycho.jl: An attempt of implementing psycho in Julia

Neuroscience

  • NeuroKit2: 🧠 The Python Toolbox for Neurophysiological Signal Processing
  • Pyllusion: 🤯 A Python module for generating visual illusions
  • PyShaman: 🧙‍♂️ A Python software for inducing altered states of consciousness
  • TruScanEEGpy: Utility functions to work with Deymed's TruScan EEG system

Neuropsychology

  • Neuropsydia: A Python Module for Creating Experiments, Tasks and Questionnaires.
  • CognitiveControl: A neuropsychological task measuring different aspects of cognitive control (processing speed, inhibition, conflict resolution...)
  • RestingState: Standard resting state protocol with brief mental state assessment
  • PatientAssessmentApp: Easy Neuropsychological Assessment of Patients Scores and Deficits

Art

Other

  • popularipy: A Python package to access popularity metrics for your package
  • Mythpsychology: A review of existing relationship between myths and psychological concepts
  • tidyfamily: An R package to easily build and display genealogical trees using R

If these open-source tools helped you and you would like to contribute, you can consider sponsoring me. I'll use the money to get drinks 🍹 for me and my teammates so that we can continue coding while staying hydrated 💪
