QuillSail 1.9.2 Beta

QuillSail 1.9.2 fixes HTTPS certificate errors when the packaged desktop app checks for or downloads updates. Certificate verification and signed update verification remain enabled.

This release also includes multiple independent local publications and improved launcher readability with macOS dark appearance.

If your existing app shows CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED, download this release and replace the app once after quitting QuillSail. Publication data is stored separately from the application bundle.

Download the bundle for your computer, extract it, and open QuillSail. Python and Docker are not required.

The app opens localhost automatically. Create your publication and administrator on first launch; later launches preserve your data.

Each native build passed browser setup/restart and GUI start/stop/restart checks using disposable data. No test email was sent.

These are beta builds. macOS bundles are ad-hoc signed; Developer ID signing/notarization and Windows code signing are not configured.
Linux builds target Ubuntu 22.04 or newer with a desktop environment. See the desktop guide for required desktop libraries.

Server/CLI package: copydesk-1.9.2-py3-none-any.whl. Registered servers update with sudo quillsail update; the command prepares a release, backs up, migrates, validates web/worker health and recovers failures. Server setup and recovery.
