Recommended Workflow for working efficiently with the tool. Using this workflow will save you time, clicks and most importantly, having to put on the headset on and off each time you want to check if your movement script works as intended.

  1. Create your movement script, that you want to use.
  2. Connect the movement script with a camera.
  3. Start up beat saber in fpfc mode so that you don't have to wear a headset. (on steam, right click beat saber and go to properties. There add fpfc into the launch options. This will launch beat saber in desktop mode)
  4. Have the MovementScriptGenerator tool open on a second monitor or somewhere where you can easily reach it.
  5. Display the cameras view and go to the song you want to create camera moves for.
  6. Now you can edit the Chain elements settings on one monitor, overwrite the movement script, move over to beat saber and reload the scripts by pressing ctrl + shift + f1. This way, you can instantly see the effects of your changes. The workflow should be a loop of editing/creating elements, overwriting the movement script and checking the gamewindow, if the camera moves as you intended. You can also start the map in practice mode and choose what section of the song you want to work on.
