Minimal Viable OS

I would like this version for these reasons:

• To build an appliance and deploy a small set of applications
• A tablet fullscreen app with some changes
• To customize the desktop components

Customizable Components

It would be nice if I could customize the components so as to change from say a traditional windows taskbar at the bottom to a pillbar with icons that change contextually. I love the design as it is now, but would like to use it for off-label use.

Mobile

I would be interested in contributing to a mobile profile.

• Would benefit from some differently behaving components
• Could be aware of tilt, drag/touch gestures

Widget Sets/Desktop Environments

I would be interested in implementing other interfaces, such as KDE.

• Would be neat to have legacy windows interfaces
• Linux desktops such as KDE, GNOME, xfce, etc.
• Simple and pared down for appliances

Sounds like cool ideas. For sure it could be forked to work this way. Long term I want to have a much better theme engine that allows it to look like various things.
