🪐 Logo Proposal for EarthNet

Following the discussion in issue #12, I’d like to share a logo proposal for the EarthNet.

🔧 Design Concept

Icon: Combines a cube, layered structure, and a sphere to reflect EarthNet’s focus on satellite data and Earth system modeling. The form is clean and minimal.

Typography: The word “Earth” features a crescent arc to subtly evoke the shape of the planet.

Style: Overall tone is modern, structured, and tech-forward—aligned with the project’s scientific and interdisciplinary nature.

📄 Licensing & Usage

This contribution is completely free and can be included under the project’s MIT license.
If the design is adopted, I’ll provide the SVG source file for integration.
Feedback and suggestions for improvement are very welcome!
And of course—if it’s not a fit, that’s totally okay too. Please feel no pressure to it.

I would maybe remove the dot in the N and the sphere in the cube (redundant with the arc over Earth)

I’ve redesigned the proposal based on the feedback I received.

A strictly follows the suggestions as given.
B builds on those suggestions with some additional exploration.
C is an earlier version I held back due to hesitation around using gradients.
D is a personal favorite, though it’s unrelated to the cube or z-axis layering, which is why I didn’t share it before.
