V3.0 and up

Open the main menu, "Network Settings" and enable WiFi then enter your WiFi SSID and KEY (Password), after you select "Back" it should connect to your network.

Alternative you can open the file /emuelec/configs/emuelec.conf (or configfiles/emuelec/configs/emuelec.conf on samba share) and enter your information manually in the B - Network section, you will connect to WiFi after reboot.

If all else fails, another option is open Retroarch, and in the settings menu select WiFi, if your network does not appear on the list then there is a possibility your WiFi chip is not yet supported (open an issue with your WiFi chip model and we can probably work it out) but if your network shows up, try to connect directly on this screen.

Prior to v3.0

If you can it is always faster and better to use Ethernet rather than WiFi, but if you want to connect to WiFi you need to create a file called wifi.txt on the first partition of the SD (partition called EMUELEC) you could also create a file in /storage/.config/wifi.txt or the samba share \\EMUELEC\configfiles\wifi.txt but you need to be connected to the network by Ethernet first.

Inside this file you type the name of the SSID and your password separated with a semicolon (SSID:PASSWORD)

Insert the SD to your Amlogic box and start EmuELEC once it boots up go to the "setup" (or scripts) section on Emulationstation and choose the script called "03 - WIFI", if your information on wifi.txt is correct you should now be connected to the internet and can use all the options that requires network/internet (Like scraper, ssh, etc)

IMPORTANT (all versions)

When entering your WiFi password, make sure any special characters (such as '#', ';', '$', so on) it may contain are escaped - meaning, you must prepend each special char in your WiFi password with a '\' (backslash, no quotes - e.g.: '$' => '\$'). Otherwise your box won't connect, regardless of it being able to 'see' any SSIDs closeby.
