Soon we will beintroducing an optional Supporter Subscription for those who'd like to help fund WebLibre's development.
Subscribers will gain access to a set of additional online services, including (for now):
These services are purely supplementary — the absence of a subscription has no impact on any core browser features.
About the Search Service
Our search service is a premium offering, comparable to what services like Kagi provide. We query official, paid search APIs from up to 5 different providers per search, combined with custom re-ranking to deliver high-quality, reliable results.
We offer three search modes:
Privacy & Anonymity
Privacy is guaranteed at the cryptographic level through blinded tokens, with optional Tor routing using a fresh identity for every search. This ensures no search can be linked to a specific user or account. Unlike traditional search engines funded by sponsored results or user data sales, WebLibre collects no logs or statistics about search activity or behavior.
Rich Results
Because we use official search APIs, results include significantly richer information — ratings (e.g. from IMDb), relevant content snippets, and more — often surfacing the information you need without requiring you to visit the site.
Pre-render Pipeline
For privacy-conscious users, we offer a cloud-based pre-render pipeline powered by our own cloud browsers. This delivers static representations of search results in formats including HTML (no JS), PDF, PNG, and Markdown/Plain Text — reducing attack vectors and limiting unnecessary network egress.
