Jackson 3.0.0-rc1 is being released:

FasterXML/jackson-future-ideas#80

all other components have been successfully released and all except for Jakarta-RS providers are accessible via Maven Central. Providers should get there within 10-15 minutes.

@cowtowncoder I don't seem to have permissions to write to tools.jackson on s01.oss.sonatype.org.

I usually use GitHub CI jobs to publish and they have access to credentials for s01.oss.sonatype.org but I am having trouble getting the right CI setup to allow master branch to run CI tasks in the way that I need.

The latest snapshots published do link to the jackson 3.0.0-rc1 jars.

I think I've managed to publish using a manual mechanism - based on using the Nexus UI.

I still don't know why the Sonatype REST APIs are failing - comment above with the HTTP failures.

Ugh. Sorry to hear about problems.

On plus side, if you can log in to https://s01.oss.sonatype.org/ you should be able to get things to work (but it sounds like maybe they are working now?)
I think I had to create new token for CI for 3.0.0 and shared user/token as CI_DEPLOY_USERNAME3 / CI_DEPLOY_PASSWORD3 should be available to Github Actions.

I am using Sonatype's nexus-staging-maven-plugin with Maven release plug-in and had to find new stagingProfileId but since you don't use Maven that's not relevant.

On Sonatype HTTP failures, maybe worth contacting Sonatype? Unfortunately old Jira is gone but this:

shows that email to "central-support@sonatype.com" is the way to go? Not big fan of ZenDesk but whatever. I don't think I have yet contacted them (still had Jira access year ago).
