First public FerMatter preview for Apple Silicon, macOS 14+ (verified on macOS 26).

  • Edit LaTeX/Typst equations and TikZ/CeTZ figures; copy, drag or export SVG, PDF and raster images.
  • Includes Instant, a saved equation library, configurable tools, MCP/CLI support and Fermat icons.
  • Keeps the existing bundle identity, project folders, settings, drafts and Instant history.

This preview is ad hoc signed and is not notarized by Apple. Open the DMG, drag FerMatter into Applications, then launch it. If macOS blocks first launch, try opening it once, then use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway for FerMatter. Apple’s instructions. Managed Macs may prohibit this.

Install Typst or TeX and conversion tools separately; requirements. Quit the app before replacing an existing installation. There is no in-app update downloader.

FerMatter.dmg.sha256 verifies the DMG. build-info.json records its source commit, checks and limitations. Automated compiler and archive checks passed; native visual and clean-Mac installation/upgrade checks are not claimed. This is a preview, not a notarized stable release.
