• Live FPS in the stats overlay. See your FPS and 1% lows on top of any game. It uses Intel's PresentMon, which watches Windows' graphics events and never touches the game, so it's safe with anti-cheat. PresentMon downloads automatically the first time, and SpudBoost needs to run as admin for FPS to show.

Fixed

• Uninstalling works again. If SpudBoost was running as admin, the uninstaller couldn't close it and SpudBoost couldn't be removed. It now closes SpudBoost properly first, asking for admin once if needed.
  • Uninstalling an older version still having trouble? Right-click the orange potato near the clock, choose Exit, then uninstall. Or update to 1.6.3 first.

• Stats overlay works everywhere. GPU temp, CPU, RAM and ping now show on top of every game and app, not just Fortnite. Press F9 to hide or show it anywhere. Games need to run in borderless or windowed mode for it to appear.
• "Show me" button on your Spud Score. When the next step is something only you can do, like turning on XMP for your RAM, it opens the card with the steps.

SpudBoost accounts

• Create a free account from the bottom-left of the app: username, email and password, with email confirmation and password reset.
• Cloud save: your profiles, crosshairs, Game Boost lists, favourites and accent colour are saved to your account and come back on any PC you sign in on.
• Your sign-in is kept encrypted on your PC; your password is never stored.

More boost

• 10 new tweaks: no update restarts during gaming hours, stop Windows replacing your graphics driver, turn off compatibility telemetry (CompatTelRunner spikes), turn off hibernation to free disk space, release reserved bandwidth, turn off TCP ECN and more.
• RAM cleaner (Boost-Up → Cleaner): frees Windows' standby memory with one click, or automatically mid-game when free memory gets low.
• Background app spotter: play sessions now show which background apps used the most CPU while you played, with a button to close them next time.

Fixed in 1.3.2

• NVIDIA potato textures no longer smear hills and the ground. Anisotropic filtering, which keeps surfaces seen at an angle sharp, is now left to the game instead of being forced off. It costs almost no FPS.
• New Flatness picker on the Potato graphics page: Light (+1), Medium (+2, default) or Max (+3). Changing it re-applies potato textures straight away if they're on.
• The NVIDIA and AMD driver tips now keep anisotropic filtering on application settings.

Already using NVIDIA potato textures? Click Restart as admin, then switch NVIDIA potato textures off and on (or pick a Flatness level) to swap to the new settings.

Fixed in 1.3.1

• Tweaks no longer look switched off after you sign in or restart. SpudBoost now checks every tweak's real state as soon as it starts (even hidden in the tray), all at once, so the switches are right by the time you open it.
• Switches stay greyed out until their state is known, so you can't accidentally undo a tweak that only looked "off".
• Presets, Apply all, Undo all and friends' profiles now wait for those checks before changing anything.

Easier to use

• One-click presets: Safe, Competitive and Max FPS, plus a welcome screen on first launch.
