• SpudBoost-Setup-1.6.0.exe: the installer. Already have SpudBoost? Just click Update now in the app.
• SpudBoost-1.6.0-portable.zip: unzip and run, nothing to install.

SpudBoost accounts

• Create a free account from the bottom-left of the app: username, email and password, with email confirmation and password reset.
• Cloud save: your profiles, crosshairs, Game Boost lists, favourites and accent colour are saved to your account and come back on any PC you sign in on.
• Your sign-in is kept encrypted on your PC; your password is never stored.

More boost

• 10 new tweaks: no update restarts during gaming hours, stop Windows replacing your graphics driver, turn off compatibility telemetry (CompatTelRunner spikes), turn off hibernation to free disk space, release reserved bandwidth, turn off TCP ECN and more.
• RAM cleaner (Boost-Up → Cleaner): frees Windows' standby memory with one click, or automatically mid-game when free memory gets low.
• Background app spotter: play sessions now show which background apps used the most CPU while you played, with a button to close them next time.
• Game Boost keeps junk apps closed while you play, and can stop them starting with Windows.

New look

• Achievements on the Home page: 12 to unlock.
• Tweaks in sideways rows grouped into sections; Network tweaks as tiles.
• Redesigned Settings and Game Boost pages with big switches, plus bigger checkboxes everywhere.
• Hone-style sidebar and game pages: click any game for its info, screenshots, how optimized it is and its own game-specific tweaks.

Fixed

• Disable network adapter power saving failed on many PCs. It now switches off "Allow the computer to turn off this device" correctly.
• Error messages from tweaks are now readable instead of showing raw code.
• Several switches showed as off when they were actually on.
