It failed as it expected the maintenance branch to exist.
This is part of our standard release process for other repos (although not fully rolled out) - so that maintenance releases happen from the maintenance branch.
However, for these nodes, I think we're more likely to publish from main with any updates (if ever), rather than keeping separate maintenance and development streams.
