Description
Has your issue been reported?
- I have searched the existing issues and confirm it has not been reported.
- I give permission for members of the FlutterFlow team to access and test my project for the sole purpose of investigating this issue.
Current Behavior
I have the FF mac app. Whenever I switch to a different desktop or window and spend some time there, when I come back to FF app it automatically reloads. If there was a Local Run it completely forgets about it. This leads to rendering Local Run useless, as I have to run it every single time again.
Expected Behavior
FF mac app automatically reloads but remembers there's a Local Run session going on. Still allowing for hot reload.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a project on FF mac app
- Local Run it
- Navigate to a different mac desktop. Spend some time there working (e.g. on Google Chrome browsing around).
- Come back to the FF mac desktop.
- You'll see the FF mac app refreshes the current project and forgets about the local run instance.
Reproducible from Blank
- The steps to reproduce above start from a blank project.

Context
Simply using the Local Run, but breaks every time due to this behaviour. Basically I can't test the app, I have to run Local run again each single time (and takes a lot of time).
