Grey overlay screen when adding a variable

• I give permission for members of the FlutterFlow team to access and test my project for the sole purpose of investigating this issue.

Current Behavior

On a specific page of my app in the builder, every time I try to add a variable, I get a grey screen in the builder. Tested on web and mac app

Expected Behavior

I can add my paramters in components and widgets through a variable

After further debug, this happens when I cut a backend query to put it somewhere else and it had some widgets parameters that were dependent on it. Then, these parameters become invalid (red).

But then this creates the issue where you can't fix the parameters after since clicking on them to change them creates this!

same problem when i try to add a database query. especially when i try to add a filter variable.

@zappyle i have the same issue. but you can workaround to add the query without filter. then confirm, and then open the query again and add the filter. this works for me actually.

but still this behavior is a bug for me :-)

Hi, I came across this thread through the issue link #5284. I’m wondering if there’s any information on which release this bug will be addressed. I’m in the process of launching my app soon, and this issue is affecting some key features. The search functionality, in particular, is quite limited when trying to search through a list of documents, which is impacting the user experience. I’d greatly appreciate it if this could be prioritized and fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for your attention to this!
