Does anyone have any tips for getting started with Foster?

I found Foster while browsing through the GitHub explore page, and it was conveniently when I was starting to learn game dev. I am already pretty familiar with C# and was learning MonoGame when I finally yielded to temptation and decided I was going to use Foster instead.

I have already been going through some of the examples in the sample page and looked at the source code to get an idea of what features I had.

I don't know if it's useful for context, but once I get my bearings I am really interested in contributing.
