Summary

  • Update release owner from jmgilman to GilmanLab
  • Add homebrew_casks section for automated formula publishing to GilmanLab/homebrew-tap
  • Update brew install commands in documentation to use GilmanLab/tap
  • Add HOMEBREW_TAP_TOKEN to release workflow

Setup Required

Before merging, add the HOMEBREW_TAP_TOKEN secret to this repository:

  1. Create a fine-grained PAT scoped to GilmanLab/homebrew-tap with Contents read/write
  2. Add it as a repository secret named HOMEBREW_TAP_TOKEN

The tap repository is ready at: https://github.com/GilmanLab/homebrew-tap

Test plan

  • goreleaser check passes
  • just check passes
  • After adding secret, test with a release tag

Current behavior:
Manual releases without automated package distribution to Homebrew

New behavior:
Automated Homebrew formula publishing to GilmanLab/tap repository with GoReleaser integration, updated ownership from jmgilman to GilmanLab, and configured brew cask with container runtime requirements
