Native Rust beta with a bundled structured software catalogue.

  • Ten reviewed product/family recipes plus Steam and Store channel detection.
  • Private version sightings, retained history, operation outcomes and source associations.
  • Official update instructions and GitHub stable-release tracking beyond WinGet.
  • Current-user registry mirror deduplication and source-coverage filters.
  • Opt-in hourly WinGet updates while open; bounded portable-folder discovery.

Validated: 25 Rust tests, Clippy, release build, synthetic native screenshots and read-only live inventory/release checks. No installed software was changed during testing. Custom vendor/GitHub routes provide guidance and release tracking, not arbitrary asset installation.

Extract the ZIP and run AppTide-Beta.exe. Existing beta catalogues are preserved with atomic backups. Automatic updates require both global and per-app consent; off by default. This beta is unsigned. See the repository catalogue documentation for provenance and limits.
