Default template in cloud functions is broken

The testing system is throwing a "goog is not defined" which I had to take a screen recording to capture since it flashes away so quickly.

It then is also manifesting when you deploy as "Error: No default engine was specified and no extension was provided."

This has resumed working as of this morning, closing things out.
