Viewing instance details

You can inspect a VM instance by using the Instance details tool window

1. In the Project Explorer tool window, right-click a VM instance and select Show details to open the Instance details tool window.

2. The Instance details shows the following information

   • Basic information about the name and size of the VM instance
   • The internal and external IP address of the VM instance
   • Information about the operating system version and SKU deployed on the VM instance. This information is obtained from OS inventory management
   • An indication whether the VM is running on a sole-tenant node

   

   If you haven't enabled OS inventory management, some of the information will not be available and you will see the following warning instead:
