Four bytes clocked out through the SPI are mapped to 25 input pins. Only bit 0 of the fourth byte is significant. Since there are no outputs and mosi will be set to whatever the user program sets it to, mosi is ignored.

In common with all other SPI cores, when the SPI selector goes idle, the byte count is reset.
