ClipKeep 1.1.0
A small menu bar clipboard manager for macOS 14+ (Apple Silicon and Intel).
What's in 1.1.0
- Images: screenshots and copied pictures are saved, shown as thumbnails, and pasted back.
- Menu bar: click the icon to open your history; right-click for Pause, Clear, Check for Updates and Quit.
- Settings gear in the history window.
- Updates: ClipKeep can now check for new releases and install them itself (Settings → Updates).
Install
Quickest: open Terminal and paste this line. It downloads ClipKeep, checks it, puts it in Applications and opens it, with no security warning:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Hamza-Boulila/ClipKeep/main/install.sh | bashOr with the DMG:
- Download ClipKeep.dmg below, open it, and drag ClipKeep onto Applications.
- Open ClipKeep. It isn't signed with a paid Apple Developer ID, so macOS says it "could not verify" it. Click Done.
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway next to ClipKeep, and enter your password.
- Open ClipKeep again and confirm. You only have to do this once.
ClipKeep lives in the menu bar. Press ⇧⌘V or click its icon to open your clipboard history. To let it paste for you, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
ClipKeep.zip contains the same app; the in-app updater uses it.
