OpenCleaner 1.0.0
First release of OpenCleaner: open-source disk cleaners for Linux, macOS, Windows and Android. Each one scans, shows what it found with sizes, and deletes only what you tick and confirm. Every category always shows a row ("Clean" when there is nothing to remove), and a disk-usage browser helps you find what is really taking space.

What it cleans
- Linux: pacman cache and orphans, systemd journal, unused Flatpak runtimes, browser crash-recovery backups, large
~/.cachefolders, Trash, leftover Steam Proton prefixes. - macOS: Homebrew, logs, app caches, Trash, Xcode data, simulators, iOS backups, Steam.
- Windows: temp folders, Windows Update cache, crash dumps, Recycle Bin, browser caches, developer caches, Steam.
- Android: own cache, thumbnails, old APKs, WhatsApp sent copies, large files, and per-app sizes (Android does not let apps clear other apps' caches without root).
Safety
- Nothing is deleted until you tick items and confirm in a dialog that lists them.
- Each item can only delete inside its own allowed folders. Files in use are skipped, never forced.
- Risky items (save-game data, device backups, orphaned packages, Trash/Recycle Bin, browser caches that may be open) start unticked.
- The disk-usage views only move things to the Trash / Recycle Bin. Android has no trash for files, so deletes there are permanent and the app says so.
Good to know
- The binaries are unsigned. macOS Gatekeeper, Windows SmartScreen and Android will warn on first run. If macOS says the app is damaged after download, run
xattr -cr OpenCleaner.app. - The Android APK is debug-signed; the Linux binary needs a glibc at least as new as the machine that built it.
- Use at your own risk and read each confirmation list before cleaning.
