Handbrake 1.11.0 Crashes on Mac Tahoe

I installed Handbrake 1.11.0 on Mac Tahoe 26.3.1 and when reading DVD (home movie) it crashes right away when starting to read the DVD. Tried multiple DVD's, same. Downgraded to 1.9.2 and it works fine with no crash. Any suggestions on what I can check for the new version crashing?

It's a known issue that will be fixed in a new release next week.

Also crashes on MacOS Sequoia 15.7.4 (24G517) when scanning after open of a home made DVD from an external USB drive - crash log attached.
If this is the same problem when is a fix likely to be released?
