Quest Tools 1.0.0
Quest Tools 1.0.0 — first public release
Take back control of your Meta Quest 3 / 3S — debloat, kill telemetry, tune performance and back up save games & settings from a fast terminal UI. Every change is journaled and can be undone.
Highlights
- 🎛️ Menu-driven terminal UI: arrow keys, hotkeys, type-to-filter, checklists. Live status bar with headset/controller battery, temperature, refresh rate and connection.
- ↩️ Undo for everything: package toggles, properties and settings are journaled with their previous value.
- 🧹 Debloat with a curated knowledge base: packages are rated recommended / optional / caution / keep / protected, and critical services (
ocms, store, credentialsmanager) are never disabled by accident. - 🔄 Firmware-update aware: detects when a Horizon OS update re-enables packages and restores your profile in one step.
- 💾 Backups: settings snapshots with diff and selective restore; app backups that include save games (
Android/data,obb). - ⚡ Performance: CPU/GPU levels, foveated rendering, eye-buffer resolution, refresh rate, presets, live monitor.
- 🌐 Network: one-step Wi-Fi ADB, offline mode (DNS blackhole), Private DNS presets (AdGuard, Mullvad, Quad9, …).
- 🧩 Zero dependencies: Python 3.10+ standard library plus
adb. Every function is also available as a CLI command with--json.
