  • Added wheel distributions for Python 3.14.

  • Officially supports the free-threading mode (also known as No-GIL mode), which was introduced experimentally in Python 3.13 and stabilized in Python 3.14 (still opt-in).

Caveat: Using habachen with a free-threaded build does not automatically make it faster. However, you can safely call the library’s functions from multiple threads, which can improve efficiency with minimal effort.

Of course, you can continue to use this module with normal (GIL-enabled) builds as before.
